Blue-Bot

Blue-Bot is an interactive robot for children aged 3 and up. It can be programmed not only using the buttons on its body but also via Bluetooth with the help of a computer, smartphone, or tablet.

In addition, Blue-Bot has a transparent shell, allowing children to explore the electronics inside. This interactive robot is an ideal tool for introducing the basics of algorithms and simple programming.

Blue-Bot

Blue-Bot is suitable for use in kindergartens and primary schools. It helps students develop logical thinking, spatial awareness, planning, and basic math skills.

Blue-Bot is a useful teaching aid for STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and math). Its transparent body lets children see how its internal electronics work, sparking curiosity and interest in technology.

 

Blue-Bot can remember more than 200 steps

  • Button programming
    Just like Bee-Bot, Blue-Bot can be programmed using the directional buttons located directly on its body.
  • App control
    Thanks to its Bluetooth technology, children can also program the robot in the app, entering commands as if on the physical robot (via buttons), watching them execute, and completing fun challenges.
  • TacTile Reader
    Another option is programming via a TacTile Reader  paired via Bluetooth, where individual commands are placed directly into the reader and executed by pressing the Go button.
    If the sequence contains an error, you don’t have to start over — simply swap the incorrect tile and test again.
    The reader holds 10 commands, but for longer or more complex programs, up to 3 readers can be connected together, or you can get an extended function set.
  • Block programming in the app
    The Blue’s Blocs app allows children to try programming by assembling sequences from colorful blocks.
Blue-Bot

Blue-Bot moves in 15 cm steps, can turn 90°, and remembers more than 200 steps. When programming through the app or using the TacTile Reader with the Extended Command Pack, the robot can also be programmed to turn just 45° or to easily repeat set algorithms.

 

Interaction with other robots and more

For feedback, Blue-Bot is equipped with a speaker and LED lights, making it accessible even for children with specific hearing or visual needs.

Additionally, the robot can use its infrared sensor to detect another Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot nearby and greet it. When greeting, it flashes its lights and plays a default sound, or students can record their own 2-second message.

 

Variety of accessories

In addition to the TacTile Reader, you can also make use of other accessories.

Choose from a range of thematic mats to practice the alphabet, colors, shapes, spatial orientation, or simple math. Alternatively, get a transparent mat and customize it according to your students’ needs and level. Further possibilities include the plow accessory or the pen holder.

    You can control Blue-Bot using the app of the same name, where you can program individual steps. All you need is a tablet, smartphone, or computer with Bluetooth.

Rechargeable battery

The Blue-Bot robot is powered by a built-in battery that can be easily recharged using the included USB cable. When fully charged, Blue-Bot lasts for up to 6 hours of regular use (about 1.5 hours of continuous operation). A completely discharged battery may take up to 4 hours to fully recharge.

To save power, Blue-Bot features a sleep mode that activates whenever the robot is unused for more than 5 minutes. To wake it up again, simply press any button. In sleep mode, Blue-Bot consumes very little energy, so the battery stays charged longer.

To charge multiple robots at once, you can use a charging dock. It allows you to charge up to 6 Blue-Bots simultaneously and also serves as a convenient storage solution.

 

Connectivity

Blue-Bot is equipped with Bluetooth technology, so you can pair it with a tablet (or smartphone) or a TacTile Reader to take children’s programming skills to the next level.


A robotic range that grows with children
