Oti-Bot

With Oti-Bot, children from the age of 7 can learn the basics of programming in a playful way while also discovering advanced technologies such as emotional intelligence and machine learning, with which it is literally packed.

Oti-Bot develops computational and logical thinking through real-life tasks: designing, debugging, and problem-solving. By combining robotics, multimedia, and artificial intelligence, it becomes an ideal tool for modern education.

Ideal for children from 7 years old

Oti-Bot

The humanoid robot Oti-Bot is designed for teaching STEAM subjects at both primary and lower secondary levels. It features track drive, a wide range of sensors, internal storage (32 GB), and a camera that can take photos, record audio and video, and also stream in real time. This makes it useful, among other things, for documenting students’ work.

Oti-Bot even supports AI recognition of up to 99 faces (all data is safely stored locally) and can be programmed to respond differently to each one.

Its already extensive capabilities can be further expanded by swapping its belly for a bulldozer blade, basket, or forklift.

All these features make it a fun, interactive, and engaging learning tool that simulates real-world robotic tasks and supports experiential learning.

Remote Control and Block Programming

To control Oti-Bot, you need to connect it to a tablet with the Oti-Bot app using a QR code.

In the app, you can choose between two programming methods:

  • Remote control
Move Oti-Bot forward, backward, or sideways using virtual buttons and a joystick. You can change its facial expression or the color of its belly.
This mode provides instant interaction and fun control of Oti-Bot without the need for programming.
  • Block programming
Another way to program Oti-Bot is through colorful blocks with individual commands.
Start with simple commands for movement, pause, LEDs, or sounds. At the intermediate level, add loops and sensors, while advanced students can handle variables, functions, conditions, and other logical constructs.

Cross-Curricular Learning and Creative Scenarios

Oti-Bot

Oti-Bot brings emotions and interactivity into learning, ensuring a more engaging experience and motivating children to explore. A color sensor and line-following sensors allow it to react to the environment, while a programmable pen holder and movable head open space for creative projects.

The robot is also equipped with a camera, capacitive touch sensors, microphone, and speaker, enabling it to respond to touch, capture, and play back images and sound.

Thanks to updatable firmware and a detachable belly, Oti-Bot can be easily upgraded and adapted to evolving educational needs.

Oti-Bot App

Connect Oti-Bot with a tablet via Bluetooth and program its movement including speed and angle, belly color, head movement, sounds, sensors, camera, and more.

Students can progress from simple remote control to programming with classic Scratch blocks.

The app is available for free download and is only available for tablets, both Android and iPads.

Rechargeable Battery

Oti-Bot is powered by a built-in battery that can be easily recharged using the included USB cable. When fully charged, the robot lasts for 1 to 2 hours of regular use. If the battery is completely drained, a full recharge may take up to 4 hours.

To save energy, Oti-Bot is equipped with a power-saving mode that activates whenever the robot is idle for more than 5 minutes. In sleep mode, Oti-Bot consumes very little energy, so a charged battery lasts longer.

Connectivity

Oti-Bot is equipped with Bluetooth technology to pair with a tablet.

A Robotic Range that Grows with Children

TTS offers a unique and progressive learning pathway that evolves alongside your students. With intuitive Bee-Bots and Blue-Bots , even the youngest learners are introduced to programming – through simple button presses or the Tactile Reader they acquire the basics of sequencing.

For greater adventures, including outdoor learning, there is the Rugged Robot, which offers the same easy controls but is adapted to more demanding terrain.

Older students can smoothly transition to robots like Loti-Bot and Oti-Bot, which combine fun with advanced features such as sensors or block programming in Scratch or the app.

Whether you’re starting with coding or diving into more advanced STEAM projects, this complete range provides tools that match every stage of development. Programming thus becomes meaningful, fun, and always age-appropriate.
