The MT3 series digital microscopes offer a modern and easy-to-use solution for classroom teaching, clubs, and home exploration of the microscopic world. They combine classical optics with a large tiltable display, a high-quality CMOS sensor, and the ability to capture photos and videos directly during observation.
With the combination of top and bottom LED illumination, interchangeable objectives, and image output via HDMI or USB, these microscopes provide versatile use from basic exploration to detailed analysis of sample structures. The MT3‑2, MT3‑4, and MT3‑5 models differ in magnification and sensor resolution, allowing you to choose the version that best suits your needs.
Advanced microscopes for school labs and home research

With MT3 microscopes, anyone can become a little scientist, as they offer reliability, precision, and ease of use.
Thanks to the large 7" touch display, which can be conveniently tilted as needed, students can easily observe fine structures and details of samples, making long observation sessions more comfortable. During this, students can capture photos or videos, which can be saved directly to the included 8GB SD card without requiring the app, simplifying analysis and sharing. The device is also equipped with HDMI and USB-C ports, allowing easy display on external monitors or transferring files to a computer.
All models feature top and bottom LED illumination with adjustable intensity, allowing work with various sample types and easily optimizing lighting for contrast and clarity.
The models primarily differ in their objectives and sensor resolution. The MT3-2 MT3‑2 basic variant uses three objectives (4×, 10×, 40×) and a 2MP CMOS sensor, providing very good images for standard school tasks. The MT3-4 has the same set of objectives but with a 5MP sensor, allowing finer details to be captured.
The top model MT3-5 adds a fourth 60× objective and uses an 8MP Optina CMOS sensor, ensuring the highest clarity and precision in the series. Display magnification reaches up to 810×, making it ideal for advanced lab work and detailed research.

Each microscope also comes with a set of 10 prepared slides, providing ready-to-use samples for immediate observation.
Choose the Microscope That Fits Your Classroom Needs
With the MT3 series microscopes, you can select the ideal model for every classroom activity. From basic observations to detailed analysis – compare the different models and easily choose the variant that best suits your students’ level, the type of experiments, and the required specifications.

MatataXplore App
To unlock the full potential of the microscopes, the MatataXplore app is the perfect companion. Even though all MT3 models include an SD card for storing photos and videos, the true capabilities are fully realized with the app.
With MatataXplore, you can stream live images in real time, which is useful for teacher demonstrations or group projects. The app supports distance and size measurement directly on the image, allows objective calibration, and switching between observation modes, significantly simplifying work with different sample types.
Thanks to its intuitive interface and broad compatibility, the app is suitable for both school laboratories and home exploration.
