VinciBot is an educational robot designed to make learning fun, interactive, and accessible for both beginners and advanced users. VinciBot promotes learning by doing and stimulates imagination by allowing children to create real projects.
Ideální pro děti od 8 let

Thanks to its simple controls combined with a wide range of sensors and customization options, VinciBot is ideal for teaching programming while also helping develop computational, design, and engineering thinking.
VinciBot supports various educational scenarios with AI, IoT, and gamification in learning. The ability to connect multiple robots together, compatibility with LEGO® bricks, third-party electronic modules, and expansion kits make projects even more engaging and enjoyable.
Controller operation and Python programming
You can choose from 3 options depending on skill level:
-
Controller operation
Control VinciBot using the remote controller. -
Block programming
VinciBot can also be operated via an app or online Scratch editor, where students can try block-based programming inspired by Scratch. The puzzle system helps them understand which commands cannot be combined because they “do not fit” together. -
Text programming in Python
More experienced students can write their own code in Python.

Advanced sensors and preset modes

VinciBot is equipped with multiple sensors. Thanks to the proximity and collision sensors, collisions are not a concern, and the cliff sensor ensures VinciBot won’t fall off a table. Light, sound, and color sensors also provide many opportunities for creative projects.
Customize your VinciBot by changing the color of its LEDs or bring it to life by programming the 16×8 LED matrix. You can also use the library of interactive sound, light, and motion effects or the 21 sounds of different musical instruments. Together with the pen holder with high-precision drawing function, this makes VinciBot an ideal tool for cross-curricular learning.
VinciBot also offers 3 preset modes:
- Remote control mode: The controller can be used to change speed and direction or adjust volume, etc.
- Line-following mode: Using the line-following sensor, VinciBot moves along a drawn line.
- Drawing mode: VinciBot automatically draws an image.
Expand VinciBot capabilities and be even more creative
Develop creativity, engineering, and design thinking with expansion kits.
With the Creator Kit, students can build more than 20 projects and constructions (or create their own) and understand physical mechanisms such as crankshafts, joints, and cam systems through practical examples.
The Inventor Kit includes 5 programmable electronic modules that can be used to build various interactive electronic projects.
The AI Vision Kit is designed to enhance VinciBot’s coding capabilities using advanced AI features. It comes with pre-trained models and supports graphical programming.
The Smart Sports Kit includes tasks that guide children to explore programming, construction, Tiny ML (embedded machine learning), and IoT (Internet of Things) within three sports themes: football, athletics, and basketball.
Applications
-
MatataCode (VinciBot)
In the MatataCode app for VinciBot, children learn basic block programming principles. They can assemble programs from colored blocks representing individual commands.
-
Online Scratch editor
The Scratch editor for VinciBot can be accessed on any desktop, laptop, or tablet with Bluetooth, or its offline version can be downloaded. It is free to use and available in Czech.
Rechargeable battery
VinciBot has a built-in battery that can be easily recharged using the included USB cable.
When fully charged, the robot lasts for approximately 4 hours of normal use. If the battery is completely depleted, a full charge may take up to 2 hours.
Connectivity
VinciBot features Bluetooth technology with a range of 10 meters.
Learning through play with real technologies
VinciBot is a smart educational robot designed to develop digital skills and logical thinking. It promotes learning through hands-on activities, enhances imagination by creating projects involving creative music, dance, autonomous drawing, and collaboration, as well as learning from mistakes.
It supports learning scenarios based on artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and TinyML – machine learning directly on the device. The robot is equipped with 8 sensors, a camera, and ports for third-party electronic modules, allowing students to create real IoT projects such as monitoring temperature, light, or motion and processing data in real-time.
With a simple graphical programming interface, students learn to train their own AI models – for example, to recognize colors, sounds, or gestures – and use them directly in interactive tasks. TinyML support lets students experience how “smart” behavior works inside the robot without needing an internet connection.
Gamified challenges, missions, and creative projects keep students engaged and encourage active exploration. VinciBot is an ideal tool for cross-curricular learning and helps teachers bring future technologies into the classroom in a fun and accessible way.
