Blue-Bot
Blue-Bot is an interactive robot for children from 3 years of age, which can be programmed not only by buttons on its body, but also via Bluetooth using a computer, smartphone or tablet.
The Blue-Bot also has a transparent cover so that children can explore the electronics inside. This interactive robot is an ideal helper for the basics of learning algorithms and simple programming.
Ideal for children from 3 years
Blue-Bot is suitable for use in kindergartens and primary schools. It helps pupils develop logical thinking, spatial imagination, planning and basic mathematical skills. Equipped with Bluetooth technology, kids can start learning about programming through an app Blue-Bot, in which they can compile simple programs by entering steps, or try programming with color blocks in the Blue's Blocs application.
Blue-Bot is a useful tool for teaching STEM subjects (science, technology, technology and mathematics). Its transparent body allows children to explore what the robot is made up of, and to stimulate interest in technology.
Rechargeable batteries
The Blue-Bot robot is powered by a built-in battery that can be easily recharged using the included USB cable. When fully charged, the Blue-Bot lasts up to 6 hours of normal use (approximately 1 and a half hours in continuous use). If the battery is completely discharged, it may take up to 4 hours to fully charge.
The Blue-Bot is equipped with a power saving function that is activated whenever the robot is not used for more than 5 minutes. To turn it on again, just press any button. In sleep mode, the Blue-Bot consumes very little power, so a charged battery lasts longer.
If you have multiple robots, you can easily charge them at once with the docking station. It allows to charge up to 6 Blue-Bots at the same time and can also serve as their storage.
Interaction with another robots and other sensors
For feedback, the Blue-Bot is equipped with a loudspeaker and LEDs, that making it accessible to children with special hearing or sight needs.
In addition, the robot can recognize and say "Hello" to another Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot nearby. When greeting, it flashes and plays the default sound, or pupils can record their own sound.
Bluetooth technology
The Blue-Bot is equipped with Bluetooth technology, so you can pair it with your tablet, phone, computer or TacTile reader and take children's programming skills to the next level.
The Blue-Bot can remember up to 200 steps
The Blue-Boot can be programmed, just like the Bee-Bot, using the directional buttons located on its body, but you can go further and try programming via Bluetooth on your tablet, smartphone or computer.
Another option is to use a TacTile reader paired via Bluetooth, where individual instructions are placed directly into the reader and after pressing the Go button, the robot fulfills them. In case of wrong programming you do not have to start from the beginning, but just replace the instruction and verify its correctness again.
The capacity of the reader is 10 tiles with instructions, but for longer or more demanding program it is possible to connect up to 3 readers with each other or to purchase an extended set of functions.
The Blue-Bot moves in 15 cm steps, can rotate 90 ° and remembers up to 200 steps. When programming via an application or using a TacTile reader with an advanced command package, you can program the robot to rotate only 45 ° or simply repeat the set algorithms.
A new option is offered by app where Blue-Bot can be programmed by using colored blocks with individual commands, which fit together like a puzzle.
Diverse accessories
In addition to the TacTile reader, you can use many other accessories.
You can choose from one of the themed mats and practice the alphabet, learning colors and shapes, navigating in space or simple calculations. If you want to devise assignments and topics for your teaching hours, you can get a transparent mat and customize it according to your own needs and student level.
Blue-Bot application
To control the Blue-Boot you can use the application of the same name, where you select the steps. Just have a tablet, smartphone or computer that is equipped with Bluetooth.
